Hull Repair

Looking for a bit of advice. My 170 has a few minor scratches on the hull. Since it is ABS plastic, I was wondering what you might suggest to repair them. I would prefer to try and match Hunter bright white color. Any ideas? Thanks!

Careful with any sandpaper, but the plasic polishes out like new and will lessen the scraches

The thickness of the Hull is 1/8th inch

according to material I have read, so when you get out the sandpaper, make sure it is not heavier than about #600 grit. JY Sailboats has a site;URL is JYSAILBOATS.COM and they have parts list for 170 which includes the repair kit listed at $30.00. Must be popular since in year 2000, it was $5.00. You'll be happy to note that this is best place to get parts and info on the 170. I am amused at the number of people who keep going to there Dealer for help. Call JY. By the way, Hunter has bought controlling interest in JY so you aren't being nasty to HUNTER.

Matching color

JY uses Krylon high gloss white for repairs I believe the number is 2000 and plexus is used to repair cracks then sprayed with krylon.
