Hull Problem

I have just had my immaculate 1990 Hunter 30 surveyed and a section of hull about 2' X 2' was found that was flatter than the rest and was slightly springy. The surveyor wasn't too sure what was wrong as the hull was lined and looked perfectly OK from the inside. He thought that the hull had come unstuck from the liner. Do you have any suggestions at to how this might be repaired? Should this be done from the inside or outside? Key questions are whether the hull is solid or cored and whether the hull is bonded to the liner? Thanks for your help.

Not sure how to proceed but......

I think that the best thing is to find out from the manufacturer just how the hull is made up. On my own boat there is sold glass and I would know what to do. If the hull is cored, and the glass layer has come away from the core, this somehow has to be fixed. Obviously a minimally invasive procedure would be best like injecting resin into the space, rather than removing the area and reglassing. Any manufacturing experts out there? Jim W
