Hull number

Does anyone know where I can find the Hull # on my boat. I"ve looked on the bill of sale, but there is only the Hull Identification #. Any help would be appreciated.  Russ

Should be able to find it scribed on the outside of the hull, just under the rubrail, at the stern of the boat on the starboard side. Some Catalinas have them on the side of the boat at that location, others seem to have it on the stern of the boat at that location.The hull number should be contained within that Hull Identification Number that you are seeing. (If you have the original mainsail, you might also find it there). The format of the HID is something like CTY (a single character for the model - my 27 was "L") Hull number model year month/year of manufacture. You can google for HID and get a more discreet answer on how to decypher the HID code.Tim BroganApril IV C350 #68Seattle

Part of teh Hull ID No. IS the Hull No.

Your Hull ID No. is CTYN####?###. The first four # signs are the hull number. The ? represents teh month that the hull was made (A=Jan, L=Dec), and the last two # signs are the year of manufacture.Hope this helps.Steve
