I have a 1974 Cal 3-30. Can any one tell me where the hull number would be. The registration number is CAB30 12 50 874. These numbers do not seem to conform to the HIN format. I know of a 1973 3-30 that is hull #2 and a 1976 that is hull # 78.

CAB = Cal boats
30 = model
125 = hull number (sail number)
08 = August
74 = 1974

I would agree with you, but there is a 1976 Cal 3-30 with a hull number of 78 and mine is a 1974. Either he is wrong or 125 is mot the hull number. Also, there is supposed to be a hull number somepalce else in the boat which I can not find. Any of the Cal owners in B.C have any idea where that may be on a Cal 3-30? Thanks for the input.
