Last year during a storm, my 22' oday broke loose and rubbed against a pontoon boat. It scraped on the starboard side of the hull above the water line...it did not penetrate the fiberglass, but it did take whatever that compound material is down to the fiberglass. I would like to know what i can us to 'fill' in. And we might be talking about fiberglass filler, but the area is about a foot across and sort of spiders out from there..... I don't think it would take much...but i'm not sure how or what to use. Thanks in advance of any help you can give. seeking sail again this year... Mike

Not an expert but

Kind of sounds like it's just through the gel coat. If so, you can buy gel coat and fix that puppy just like new.

Make sure you get "finishing Gelcost"

If not, you have to cover area with plastic film so make it cure.
