Hull Identification Number

Hello all. I recently purchased a Mac 25 that has an HIN that is only partially legible. I understand that there is a second location under a fitting or in an unexposed location inside the cabin. Can anybody give me some direction to find this second location?

Not sure ware it is on a Mac 25 but on the 26D it is on the port side of the companionway.
