Hull ID

Hi All This may sound like a dumb question. But I just shrink wrapped my 2003 Hunter 260 and need to find the hull ID # does anyone know where it is? so I can do as little damage to the shrink wrap it would help to know where it is

If you have a title, it should be on there.

Charlie is correct of course, but it should be on the starboard side of the transom within two inches of the top of the transom, gunwale, or hull/deck joint, whichever is lowest.

There is only about 2" of hull at the transom I must be missing something? Mass needs a pencil rubbing to register it??

Follow the curve up from the motor mount. You'll find it just under the lip as you move forward. Should be within a foot of the starboard quarter.

You should be able to avoid cutting your shrink wrap by looking at your bill of sale and/or your insurance policy. Not sure about your state, but in Maryland it is also on both the title and the registration card.

If it is not on the starboard transom, it must be on the starboard aft quarter. Just below the rub rail. Or check your paperwork!
