Hey I have a 1976 Venture 22 and I have it on a roller trailer and the hull is flexing in about a quarter inch over a square foot area where the mid rollers sit. If you drew a line down from the rear of the windows down that is where the rollers are. Does anyone know how thick the hull is? If this is excessive or is the hull made to be flexible like this? The gel coat shows no signs of cracking, the screw driver test is good, and from the inside the resin and the glass look fine. I don't know anything about fiber glass and am not sure if it could be doing damage I cant see. Thanks !

I have a 22', 1971 Venture on a trailer with bunks. There is no apparent flexing of the boat hull. I crank down the heavy keel when the boat rests on the trailer to relieve the pressure on the hull. Perhaps you should replace the rollers with bunks.

I am with N-man, I think the rollers are the problem, as they don't provide the surface area of the bunks.

Yeah I actually am just going to put it in the water in a week. I found a nice place to anchor close to my house (intercoastal waterway). Any idea of hull thickness though?

The hull is really pretty thin maybe 1/4" if that. Go with the bunks and make sure the keel is lowered onto the trailer as was said already. If you can adjust the roller locations try to get them to set where the hull stringers are that should help. The keel box also has a pretty stout layup around it.
