Hull distortion

Some twenty-eight footers have a depression in the hull near the waterline,in line with the standing rigging. What causes that? Is it a deal breaker?

Some twenty-eight footers have a depression in the hull near the waterline,in line with the standing rigging. What causes that? Is it a deal breaker?

does'nt have to be a deal breaker, is everything structurally sound, are there any visual cracks etc$ i have noticed this on my 79 ODay 28, mainly just one side so far.

this can be from years of memory in fibre glass from over tightening of the shrouds, good idea to back off pressure when stored for winter assuming your in a climate similar to me (Ontario Canada)
