Is it possible to convert an H240 centerboard keel (water ballast) to a non water ballast wing keel? Maybe convert at the factory? Has anyone ever heard of such a conversion?

The sole puposed for water ballast is a lighter boat with less weight so you can tow with a lighter vehicle. Also, you can launch and retrieve easy versus a keel boat. I can tell you there are no plans for a 240 wing and I doubt the factory would consider. yOU can ask them as it never hurts to ask. Cra zy Davy boy
