Hello, I have just purchased a 1984 model o'day 25. Does anyone know if the hull is constructed of solid fiberglass or cored? If cored, with what? Also, how does the topping lift function on the model boat? Thank you for your responses.
Congradulations on the new boat! The hull is solid fiberglass but the deck is cored. The topping lift is set up two ways. One is a line that is attached at the head of the mast and at the aft most portion of the boom. The second way: it is connected to the aft most portion of the boom and then up to the mast head, through a block and down to a cleat near the base of the mast. hope that helped, r.w.landau
