How's The Bay After Floyd?

A group of our club members have 2 boats chartered for the Chesapeake beginning Monday, the 20th. We're sailing out of Galesville, with stopovers at Oxford; St. Michaels and maybe Rock Hall or Annapolis. Was there any damage to facilities or problems in these areas?Thanks,Dick Vance

Bay is ok

Best I can tell, the part of the bay you are planning to explore is just fine. Unfortunately, while the weekend looks great, the early part of the week looks like it might be wet.

The bay is great.

I sail my Hunter 30 in the Annapolis area and the sailing is great except for the danger of colliding with partially submerged tree limbs. Most marinas fared well. We had less than expected tidal surge. For me my problem is low tide. It has left me grounded quite often this week.Have a great time. The weather should be good.
