How to work my inverter/charger

Hello all - great site and this is my first post.

I have a Freedom Marine Series Combi Inverter/Charger with a Freedom remote control panel. This is coupled to my sailboat that has shore power (fore and aft) and generator. There is a distribution panel that controls where the AC comes from and has 3 selectors (fore, aft and neither) There is also a DC panel with breakers for the shorepower and generator.

Through the remote control panel all looks good but I ant get the inverter to invert. According to the manual its in standby mode with a blinking green light next to the inverter button.

My Thought is that I must have the setting of shorepower inputs, breakers, etc exact or it will not let the inverter put out the power. I seemed to have tried all combinations to no avail. I guess I am looking at getting 110v on the AC panel without having the generator or shore power used.

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

I have a Freedom 15, but no generator. Those units came with a very good installation manual with detailed OPTIONS on different wiring schemes. No one can or should answer your question until YOU determine how it is wired. Those manuals are available on Xantrex's website under discontinued products (at least they were a year or so ago). Good luck.

I have same setup and I just push the inverter on the remote panel not a big deal
to operate unless something is wrong.
