How to tell a Cherubini

Hi every one. I am new here and have had my eye on a Hunter 33. I am not sure on the year as I have only talked to the person watching the boat and not the owner. How do you tell if the boat is a Cherubini or not. This one is between late 70s early 80s. For what the guy told me the owner will let it go cheap. Of course I don't know what it is going to need. It is in the water now being neglected. If the survey is good I wouldn't mind putting a little money (from what I read I don't think those two words can be used when talking abount sailboats)into it. Thanks for any information.

Look at the pictures and specs. on this site

The 33' 77-83 is definately a Cehrub. the other 33 on this site I believe is not a Cherub.

Mark is right, any Hunter 33 before 1984 is a Cherubini. Click on the Related Link and study the pictures and "Owner's Reviews".It is good that you understand the importance of the survey. Boats of this vintage can be in terrible condition. So bad that even a LOT of money and time won't be enough.
