How to search for information?

Hi all, I am having trouble trying to enter successful search criteria on this forum... I guess I am doing something wrong but I get loads of irrelevant stuff when I perform, what I think, is a specific search! Is there a section which contains faq's or an area for newbies who need basic information? I just need things like the size of rigging, thru hull and seacock dimensions, common maintenance and popular upgrades/fixes...
Just do not want to burden everyone with questions that have been answered a thousand times already.

also - there is another albin vega site that does not seem to be used
a lot but has a very good structure and is easy to search with clear
sections for electric, rigging etc.. here is the link

just wondering who set this up and why nobody seems to use it... its a
great structure - just needs content.

Hi John,
Not sure totally what you are asking, but to search the forum for things previously discussed, you go to the yahoo albin vega page (you must be signed in with your yahoo identity), you will see a search box where you enter the keywords you are interested in.

THis is a good idea for you to learn this search because many things have indeed been discussed already. There is lots of good interesting info in there!
