I have a 1991 hunter 30. The starboard window is starting to leak, and needs to be resealed. Has anyone done this. I want to remove the entire window and reseal it properly. Help

Assume you are talking about the caulked in window. There are several posts on this. Remove it. Clean all the old caulk off window and boat. Buy Dow Corning 795 (I believe this is right stuff but ck archives). Apply 795 and hold in place.

Go to Marlow hunter web site and look in the archives for the instructions. Tons of good stuff there. Having just done that job, the Dow 795 glazing works very well.

The same window is leaking on the 91 Hunter 30 I'm buying. Makes you wonder if the guy at the factory doing that window was new. We're having all 3 resealed on the theory that they are not far behind.

You don't think 25 years is old enough ?

Exactly! The Dow 795 glazing life expectancy is 20 years, so it could have started leaking in 2011. My '91 started leaking in 2013, but only on the side exposed to the sun most of the time it seems. Both windows on the other side are still fine. I talked to the DC tech support folks, who were really great, and they pointed out I got an extra 3 years of service life...:D

I thought I needed to re-set and seal my portholes but then realized my leaking problem was because the insulating gasket had deteriorated. I ordered the appropriate amount of new foam insulation and now when I close the porthole it is dry. Much easier than resetting the window
