How to replacing lamps in cabin lights bulbs 23.5

The light fixture is the type that you must rotate it to turn on the light. All of my light are working, but they need some serious cleaning. I cannot fiqure out how to open the fixture. Any suggestions? Jim

push up and turn

hi jim, you have to push up on the rotating lens and rotate it (i believe its) clockwise looking at the fixture. this would be turning it past the normal "on" position i think. i am not at my boat but i believe the direction of rotation is correct. in any case, the trick is to push up on the lens and then rotate it. it will go past the normal stop and as it does it will lift (drop) right off. good luck. - ed
