I have hose, riser and tach issues to attend to and would like to remove the dog-house covering the engine. I have tried removing the horizontal screws in the bath and the aft berth, removed the stairs. Everything still seems rock solid. Does anyone know the proper routine for removal?

Try the Steps

You might try to remove the lower steps assembly first. Just lift the steps and the panel that they are attached to and slip the bottom out first. The rest may follow. (This is on some boats, so it may not work).

Just a Thought

I'm not at the boat today, but I have just finished the installation of and Air Conditioner in my 93 H30T. I removed and reinstalled the facia to the vanity in the head. I explored removing the settee to run duct work to the vee berth, but decided against going that far. What I had to remove were the screws to the inter corner cleats. This allowed the facia to come free of the bulkheads and the seperater. I also had to remove the screws that hold both of the blukheads to the facia. Therefore I suspect you will have to remove all of the servicing panels in the doghouse and access the screws to the inner corner cleats. Wether or not the rear panel is a part of the rear bulhead is unknow to me. But suspect so. I think that is too much to remove. The forward panel and the Starboard panel may give you enough elbow room. I have never done this, so I don't know for sure. but just speculating that this clue might give you the edge. Good Luck.
