How to mount anchor roller or related on a Hunter 23

Looking for a not too hard project to mount an anchor roller or some type of bracket to hold Danforth anchor. Not much room if any around anchor closet deck top to even drill bolts. Does anyone even know if that area around deck top has a Backing plate or if there is a not to difficult process for anchor mount hardware.

Use anchor a lot and desire not to have to open closet each time.

I have both a roller and a Danforth Hanger on my Bow. I don't know what the bow of your 23 looks like for a bow roller, but the Schaefer rail mount Danforth anchor hangers have been working well for my secondary bow anchor.

My neighbor has the other style of rail mount Danforth hanger, and he likes it as well.

A "Bow Roller" will not work for a Danforth/Fortress style anchor very well.

If using those hanger make sure your sails changing sides do not entangle into the spokes

I installed a roller on my H23, however I do not have pics. (I can grab some tomorrow) Things I would have done differently you can tell in the pics. Also, I use a delta on it only as I approach an anchor site, never while under way.

Sorry for the delay, but here is what tried for a bow roller on my H23. My next project will be servicing the rub rail so I'll have a better idea on what reinforcing and repairs I'll need to do. Kind of embarrassed to show but learn from my screw-up (pun intended). Fortunately it works fine and does not flex or move when weight it applied. You can see the one screw and they are all that length (3 in total). No issues with the pin either being in the way.

Again, I don't use it for a danforth, but a delta.
