The first race of the season we got a bullet. Then last week here in Denver we get a huge snowstorm, high of 34 and the race that week is canceled. Yesterday we have a major (for Colorado) regatta. 4 races yesterday and the boat has a case of the "slows". All I get is 4 straight 6th place finishes. I can't sleep last night thinking whats wrong. Day two of the regatta my girlfriend (the admiral) says why do you have the cruising and racing anchor aboard? I look in the anchor locker and it's half full of water with the large Danforth and chain! The drain was plugged up. Put the anchor in the dock box, clear the drain (very cold water) and get a 2ond place finish. The moral of the story, if you have not checked you anchor locker this year, etc, etc.
Happy and winning sailing,

We have trim level-gauges mounted to show the angle of heel (cross-ship) and our angle of pitch (fore & aft). Weight in the wrong place can ruin any day's results.
