I am not only new to the O'day 322 but also new to sailing. I have many questions and hope more knowledgeable sailors can help. I currently have to kill (turn off) the engine by pulling the lever under the port side cockpit seat. Is the normal?

make sure you push the Kill button back in after the motor stops. Nothing as dumb as trying to start the engine with the kill button in the Kill position and wondering why it doesn't start. Vic "Seven"
