How to identify shoal draft vs full

I have a 1977 Hunter 30 and was told the draft is 4'9". from everything I read the draft is either 5 1/4 feet or 4 feet. how do I tell which model I have - other than pulling the boat out of the water and measuring. is there a specific hull number identification?

I see from your profile that you live in FL. Most of us have divers who check our hull and prop shaft and props regularly. You could ask the diver to measure. Or just jump in the water?

In the drawing attached below they show the shape of the full keel, and the shoal draft keel (shown with a dotted line). Take a look at yours, and you will be able to figure out which one you have..
