Hi fellow Hunter owners. I have a 2007 Hunter 41DS. There's a rain leak on a front windshield but can't figure out how to get under the visor to recaulk, or to pull off the windshield if needed. The Visor seems permanently bolted into the coach top along the side handholds.
I hope someone might have figured out how to do this. Thanks in advance!
We've had our boat for 13 years, and love it even more than when we first bought her!

Water, I have looked at it and plan on taking one of my eyebrows off to recaulk it. Anyway it looks like it is held on by 8-10 screws and that is it. If you see anything different please let me know. I have just got the boat back from storm repairs and this project is at the top of my list. Along with leaking from windows.

Hi. Yes, there are those screws on the top of the eyebrows, but the long handholds on the top of the coach seem to hold it down securely. I think the only access may be under the headliner to unbolt the handholds. But I hope my theory is wrong, because I have no intention of taking down the headliner.

The hand hold is bolted to the eyebrow not the hull. Remove the wood screws and pull free using hand hold. There is sealant under screws

Just saw your response. Thank you very much! I couldn’t tell that was how it was attached. I’ll try that. Thanks again.
