We have a 2008 Beneteau 343 and it has developed a small fresh water leak coming in from the deck area at the aft end of the galley. Specifically the bulkhead between the galley and aft cabin. We tried to locate the leak from inside but could only see a small dribble running down the fiberglass liner when we were able to get in behind the stove. So we're in need of ways to help identify where it is coming from. Only happens after we wash the boat or it has been raining (which it does sometimes here in Washington state :) ) Have checked the water hoses and they are good. Should we just start taking out deck fitting screws and squirting in sealant and re-installing the screws????

Is there a port light just above where the leak is? You can try covering the windows from the outside well and see if it stops (then you know you found it).

I did read in a magazine that one way to find a leak is to seal up the boat really well and use a blower from a vacuum to pressurize it slightly. Then go around the outside with soapy water and the leak can be found where the bubbles are forming. It is a lot of work to seal it up well.

Yes there is a port light just forward of the area by about 1 foot. I guess I could try covering the window with a plastic bag and seeing what happens.

Thanks,
bb
