Hi, I have a 1984 Catalina 27 Std Rig on which I need to replace the Cutlass bearing. Upon closer examination it was realized that the prop shaft was well worn and also in need of replacement. To replace the prop shaft, which I cut to remove, I need to drop the rudder. My question is: Is the rudder pinned? I do not want to remove all the paint from the rudder(it is ready for launching) to find that it is not pinned. I am hoping it is pinned because I have a steering pedestal and dropping the rudder becomes much more of a project with a pedestal. Thanks, Jack
