Our 2002 Hunter 356 mattress cover needs cleaning. It has a rubber type backing on the bottom. any recommendations on cleaning without destroying it would be appreciated.

Oxi clean
I took them home and Oxi clean mixed with water on sponge over and over
and wiped with clean fresh water and let dry for a few days before return to
boat,did not remove covers from foam and just air dry for a few days here in Florida.

Normally Hunter used a vinyl product for areas where cushions and gelcoat come in contact. If the used fabric it will attract mildew.
If the material is machine washable you can wash it. Another option is to have someone clean it like a hosehold couch.
