How thick is the hull?

I've been using an electric die grinder with a 2" disc on my 1979 H30. Hull thickness varies on mine. Maybe a 1/4" on the sides and increased to about 1/2" on the bottom. I just ground out the bad stuff but made sure I didn't go through.

The area below the water line is 3/4 in, at least, on my 79.

How thick is the hull?
