How old is my Mariner

I am trying to figure out how old my Mariner is. Is there a code in the hull number or some other mark?

I'm only guessing........

My Mariner is a l977 model. In my hull identification number the last 2 numbers are 77. I am assuming that is the year of the boat, but I'm only guessing.

On the plate with your Hull Number will probably also be a Class Number.
