I use Pettit Hydrocoat. West has it on sale for $109. I bought a gallon from someone else for the same price. Because it is water based it cleans up easy, is less toxic to apply and can ship no problem due to less solvents. It is a multi-year ablative and I got two years out of it just painting a band around the water line the second year. I let it go because the ablative was really building up on the hull. Once it gets too thick it starts to crack and sheet off, which is happening now. I really should strip the hull, put on another layer of barrier coat, hot coat that with a hard paint and then put on the hydrocoat again. We'll see.
