We bought ours in 2003 for around 30,000. We have added some stuff. It's hard to say what it would be worth now. My suggestion is go to some of the "used boats for sale" web sites and check 'em out. You should be able to find some '02 Macs for sale. It really depends on how much you want to get out on the water in your own boat. Make him a low offer, you can always come up. Happy hunting!

The boat seems to have the "norm" accessories, with no serious upgrades however. My opinion would be a range of $19K to $20K as a start. You mentioned 'battery switch'...and if it has 2 batteries--thats a nice safeguard. The "X" boat is a great family boat. We've liked ours: (99 MacX-50HP Nissan).

Does the NADA quote include motor? It didn't on my 26S. I had to look it up separately.

I've looked at nada prices on boats in my area and I think in most cases they are low. I think maybe NADA should just stick to cars! Regards, Brian

I have looked at over twenty x boats and the highest priced one was 19,500 with a brand new motor and variable pitch prop. I have seen nice ones 2002 for as low as $14.500 depending on where in the world you are. The best prices were from a mac Dealer in Wisonsin who advertises 20 per cent off on new boats. Most of the boats I have actually seen were in Florida and Georgia. Boats at dealers are usually 1,500 to 2,500 over what you should pay
