How much does she weight?

Hello, Folks, I have a new (OLD) boat! The trailer is shot (Rusted out) and I can't even move her til I locate another trailer. Is there anyone that may know the net weight (Empty) of a Clipper Marine, MK23 shoal draft (Twin keel)boat? I have contacted several trailer dealers in the Cocoa arae and none seem to have any interest in talking about trailers for sailboats. Also, If you have any leadss on any dealers, that can provide an all alumnium trailer, your advise is welcomed.

If you just need to do a one time transport

pick it up and put it on a low-boy equipment trailer. I would guess the weight in the order of 2 tons.

You might do some research on your exact boat

some twin keelers are designed to stand on their keels like a tripod. If yours is like this, Ross'es idea of low boy trailer would work great. I have used old truck tires laid on their side to pad or slightly raise the stern if needed. Sun Belt Equipment Rentals is a large national company that has fair prices on trailers like this. Don't be afraid to use an abundance of large trucker rachet straps- not only to hold it down but also front to rear on both sides to keep it from sliding if you hit the brakes. Also use some larger plastic cable ties to hold fast the rachet hooks to trailer so when trailer flexes on bumps, the straps don't unhook. If you decide to buy a trailer, check out Triad or Viking- both on the internet. Good luck hooyasailor. Post some pictures when you can.

Specs for swing keel version?

The only specs I could find readily were these for the swing keel. I thought I'd pass them on in case some of the measurements are useful.
