The service manual says 3 at a rake angle of 8 degrees.

I just bought a gallon and used the pour-n-peek method. Uses about 2.8 for mid range with new filter. I didnt get that manual with mine Alan. Will track it down.

You can just download that attached file from my previous post. I keep all the pertinent manuals for everything now on Google Drive so I can look stuff up either on the boat or off. Kind of handy. And we threw away all the mouldy paper that was on the boat. Now it smells better inside.
