Does any one know how many Hunter 37 Cutters were made between 1978 and 1985 and what is the best year to buy

Do not know the exact number. We went over this a few years back and came up with something over 800 just from available HINs. After 1982 there are several upgrades: better and fewer opening portlights, traveler mounted on cabin roof, and larger engines are the most often talked about. Problems remain: lots of portlight leaks(mine never did), corroding aluminum water tanks, and aluminum holding tanks that almost all disintegrated. Find the latest model possible and then get the best survey possible.
