For most the answers is proably not enough but in actualuality how many hours in a month do you think you are under sail.

On most weekends we generally head out Friday and go on the hook in a cove, sail Saturday, Marina Saturday night and sail on Sunday. We average 10- 12 hours of actual sailing every weekend.

It amaze me out of the 30 - 40 wet slipped sailboats and the 50 - 75 in mast up lot that any given weekend there are less than 10 boats on the lake and generally the same ones. There are some good parties at night but most seem to find a reason not to sail or just motor around.

To each their own I guess.

Just wiondering what is a monthly average for weekend sailors on this forum.

IF the weather cooperates, we usually sail ~ 6 hrs each weekend making it about 24 hr a month. That does NOT count dock parties and raftups ;-)

Sails up... anywhere from 4-8 hours a weekend, not counting 1/2 - 1 hour motoring each way to get to clear sailing area, depending on where we're headed, wind conditions, boat traffic etc.
