Bought a boat demasted and need to re-rig running gear. Does it go from end of boom through block at top and out the side of the mast by boom pin? There was a cable to 3/8 rope but not long enough to go through mast. The other option would be from top of mast down to boom end through boom to some kind of tie off cleat..
how is topping lift rigged on Legend 35.5?

Mine is rigged with a shackle at the boom end, through a block at the top of the mast, and down to a cleat at the mast bottom. It is a cable spliced to a 3/8" line. The attached rigging plan shows where the topping lift exits the mast just above the boom.
