I am about to start compound, polish, buff, wax routine again this year as Maine Sail details. This year I am going to try Presta products.
Before I start how should I remove last years wax and grim? Will On and Off remove the wax or should I use wax remover? I plan to use a power washer before and after the On and Off.
Thanks for any help.

Larry,

Maine Sail's Tips say:

The Cliff Note Version:
Steps:
#1-Clean the hull with an acid base cleaner like FSR, oxalic acid or On & Off to remove rust & tannin staining. (only if necessary)

I swore off O&O 'cuz it's nasty, at least the liquid version. I use the gel FSR, others like the less expensive hardware store stuff.

Hi Stu,
I was thinking that the first step was meant for boats not yet waxed?
A mild acid wash is a lot easier than rubbing down with a wax remover. I did both last year....not good for the shoulder.
