How do you drain an Aqua Lift Muffler?

The engine instrument panel on my Catalina 42 Mk II with Yanmar 4JH2 diesel states that the Aqua Lift muffler should be drained if the engine has been cranked for 30 seconds (without starting). How exactly is that done? I've looked at the muffler and cannot immediately see how to do it.Many thanksMichael yorkePort Washington, NY

Draining aqualift

If your aqualift is like the one on the catalina 30, look for a petcock at the base of the muffler. A few twists, and it will start to drain.
