HOW Do 'Ya Get The Engine Cover Off???

I need to set the valves on my Yanmar, and it sure would be easy to do IF the cover was off. I took out the ladder, removed the screws on the port side and whatever else ones I could find, but something must be hidden since it won't budge. Any hints?Rick D.

I would like to do the same thing myself. Great access to the engine from the front and the back but the top......? Well, there must be a way.
