How do the port windows come apart on 25.5?

On mine, an 86'...there are screws only on the inside cabin...I took one out today and the screw is only 1/2 or 5/8 long. Not long enough to penetrate the outer casing. I want to remove the ports and re-caulk them...Does anyone know how they come apart? Thanks.

Caulking.

Dave: I think you will find that there is just caulking holding the outer trim ring on the port. Be very careful trying to remove these. I suggest that you get some type of caulking softener to soften up the caulk. You can also use a piece of piano wire on a couple of pieces of dowel rod to help cut into the caulking. Be sure that you use a compatable caulking when replacing the ports. You can contact Hunter they have the 795 at a good price.
