How do I find sails?

I am new to sailing. I just bought a 1984 Catalina 22'. Someone stole my sails, main and jib. They must have been in better condition than I thought.Can anyone tell me where to look for used sails, how much to pay, and how to tell if they are any good? Also, can I use sails made to fit any 22 foot boat?Thanks for any ideas.

Try Minney's at http://www.minneysyachtsurplus.com. They're in Costa Mesa, CA, but I understand will ship sails on approval and they have a great reputation. Also, check out the Catalina 22 Association web page for leads. Many of the local fleets have classifieds.
