Well I think I'm all set to go. On september 5th I leave for a 9-day trip from San Diego to Catalina Island. I've been planning this for 3 years. I think I've thought of everything from band aids to stove fuel and anchor lines to zip ties. I'd like others to tell me about trips they have made and once you get out there you find out you forgot something that you never thought of. I'm smart enough to know that I'm forgetting something simple and I'm just not thinking about. Thanks to all that reply.

Not to worry, Mike. Avalon and Isthmus both have "stuff" you may otherwise forget. However: Dinghy anchor for beaching and 100' of light line. Dinghy painter 10' and snap hook on the end. 2 cycle oil for the OB. Big trash bags (like trash-compactor heavy bags.) Extra stove lighter or matches. Extra spark plug for the OB. That ought to do it. Take some ground tackle to explore. Get a chart book of Catalina. Rick D.
