rent a U-Haul

If you only tow it twice a year, why not rent a U-Haul for $20 + gas? You could also borrow a truck from a friend for those occasions.

The short Haul

Most trucks and SUV models will tow it, even down the highway. Make sure what you get can pull it up a launch ramp. How steep, how wet, and how slippery are important considerations. Even a 3/4 ton two wheel drive can not be enough for some ramp, boat, trailer combos. Good luck

tow vehicle

Hello Chillers, It's not that tough to tow a C22. Any decent tow vehicle will work. As when towing anything, the bigger the tow vehicle, the easier the two. If you like full size SUV / pickup, than buy one of those. If you don't, then any mid size SUV like Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, etc. would do. We tow with a Honda Minivan. I would not want to tow frequently, or for long distances, but it seems to do fine. Barry

Get a diesel

You can,t go wrong with a 6.0 or 7.4 powerstroke diesel 3/4 ton Ford truck. I have the 6.0 and tow a mac26s and, or a 2 horse trailer I usually get 15-16mpg towing and up to 20-21 unloaded, around town and freeway.
