How about that "Cheap Fix"?

Peggie,Back on 8/13, an article "Cheap fix for head odor" was written and described using a small air pump to ventilate the holding tank.This would be much easier that cutting holes and runnning straight hose for a second vent and enlarging the existing vent in the process also.The bottom line is: What do you think of this idea? Is there any down-side other than the small power drain?TIA, Rich

Works great...90% of the time

But you have to give it time for the tank to balance itself, which can take several weeks--during which the odor can get much worse before it gets better.
