The 29.5 is great for..
a lot of us out (t)here. Check the reviews. Most of the 29.5 owners really like the boat. It really depends on what you want-day sail? weekend cruise? race? Best feature for our style is the walk through transom and the rigging that allows easy single-handing. Roomy enough for 4 close family members on a weekend, yet small enough to single hand. Fast enough to club race (somedays better than others)yet stable enough for family cruise.

Two seasons and still in love
For the type of sailing we do it’s the best boat for us. In my “owners review” I give the details. The only way I would upgrade is when I start longer coastal cruises…like NY to FL and beyond. Hope this helps.
