Can anyone tell me where the engine hour meter would be located on a 1997 42mkII.

Hour Engine Meter

On my 380 it is on the engine rpm face, smallnumbers that appear in digital on a roller.

Bill,I also have a 1997 MkII. The hour meter is located in the lower half of the tachometer. The numerals are much like the odometer in your car. You may have to stoop down to see the hour meter drum.Rodney KiddC-42mkII Sashay, #567

Not on mine. I have the 50 hp Yanmar with the engine controls mounted on the bottom of the steering pedestal. But there is not hour meter in the tach instrument.

Other Location

Bill,The other location where hour meters are located on the C-42 is just inside the engine access door in the galley (in the 2 cabin models). The hour meter is mounted to the top of the engine compartment just inside the access door.Rodney KiddSashay, #567
