Well my article on an old CNG hot water heater did not get a response. Can't believe no one is using these "demand" type hot water heaters. I,m personnally sorry to see the CNG go by the way side, it's so much safer albeit difficult or impossible to fill your tank and expensive!! Still if anyone has any info or thoughts on CNG, especially the hot water heater, I'd appreciate it. By the way the CNG oven converted nicely to Propane with the purchase of a $100 package. What if any are the problems with mounting the propane in a bracket on the stern railing. May look a little tacky but the prospects of sealing the lazarette from the rest of the boat is not so good. any good ideas?

Dave: They make boxes for the propane cannisters that are sealed. If you look in the catalogs you will find these. They are NOT cheap. But if it the difference between safety and price, I assume that safety will prevail! The rail work too.
