Hot water

Sailors, I have a boat wf a newer Beta engine, what would I need for a water heater install. I think the "calorifer" fitting is for heating water?? It is capped off now. Is there power needed I only have a foot pump on galley for now? Red

It is hard to see that the pressure water line tees into the water heater and the other side is the cold water system. .. No municipal inlet is needed nor is that check valve, nor is the accumulator tank. The water pump should be a rotary type and have around 3 or more GPM capability .. something like this : http://shop.hunterowners.com/prod.php?16667

The engine should have a coolant fitting on the outlet side of the engine block, heading toward the engine heat exchanger, but below the thermostat.. and a return fitting that puts the coolant back into the suction side of the circulating pump . Not familiar with the BETA but I am assuming that it is fresh water cooled ..

EDIT: looking at the manual, the "Calorifier" connections are for the water heater. Hoses go from those fittings on the engine to the heat coil fittings on the water heater. The system has to be bled of all air .. should work fine !
