yea but it will be clean water and it should go to the bilgeThanks Stu.
It is the boats domestic water supply. The engine heating hoses I can trace but the plastic water supply line come out of a blind channel. The O'Days owners manual has a schematic but it does not indicate which goes to the upper cold water in fitting at the top.
I quess I could just take one hose off and turn on the water supply pump but it will make a bit of a mess.

Thank you all. Will try it out this weekend................................... you sound even more OCD than myself.
If you're really that concerned about a bit of water flying around, put a finger tightly over the end of each hose and have some one flick the pump breaker on for a split second. The hose which generates pressure is the inlet hose to the heater.
My bad.
When I disconnected the in feed and supply out lines to the water heater I neglected to label them. Now I don't know which is which. How can I get them correct? I couldn't blow air through either hose to the galley faucet.
that's exactly what i would have done ...it takes less effort to do that than it does to get in and out of the boat and when i established witch was witch i would make them permanentlyThanks Stu.
