I've got a Legend 37.5 equipped with a Grunert 2 compartment refrig/freezer. The other day I went down to the boat and the refrigerator side was HOT. I mean REALLY HOT, elevated way above ambient temperature. The compressor and piping was hot as well. The Freezer was regular temp, i.e. COLD. I shut the thing down and let it cool down. When I started it back up it seemed to function OK. I know most of you have A/B units but has anybody run into anything like this? The boat is fairly new to me (only had it about 4 months) and this is the first problem with the refrigerator. Thanks. Jim Ewing "Prospect"

To Hot

Turn it off and call your refrigeration service company. The compressor should not be that hot nor should the box. To protect your investment do not use the unit until it is thorougly checked out.
