Can anyone direct me to a place to buy replacement hoses for my Yanmar 2QM15 diesel engine? It's in a 1980 Hunter sloop. One hose puts water into the manifold and the other goes from the manifold to the mixing elbow. Both are pre-formed. I replaced one temporarily with water hose, but I would prefer the pre-formed hoses. I have checked a Miami, FL, parts house and several sites on-line, but no luck. Thanks. King Elliott, "King Louie"

When I needed parts for my 2QM20 they were available from Torresen in Michigan( http://shop.torresen.com/marine_diesel_direct/Yanmar/ ). Mack Boring is another large dealer. If neither of these had the hoses then maybe homemade is your only option.

The folks at Torresen are the real deal. Yes, I'm biased the are 3 blocks away and I live in between the 2 owners. I guess I'm spoiled.
Yanmar Corporation has a pretty strict territorial protection policy for their dealers so some if this very fine dealers across the country may be prevented to sell in Florida. Your best bet would be with your local guy. I used to drive to St. Pete to get parts at Mastry but found out the local rep here in Tampa gives me as good a service. You may try

Thanks, Benny. I took the broken hoses to Anchor Marine, but they had some problems finding the hoses in their catalogues. They were going to call some Yanmar dealers. King
